She received a B.S. in applied mathematics in December of 2002. She taught high school mathematics at Waltrip High School in Houston, TX for about one year.  In the spring of 2006, she received a MS in mathematics teaching from University of Texas/Pan American, Edinburg, Texas.

Where is she now?

After receiving a B.S. in applied mathematics in December of 2000, Gwen began teaching middle school mathematics in Aldine ISD, and has returned to UHD seeking certification (4-8) in mathematics.
